Where We Work

Clapham Common and Victoria

The first meeting with a mediator is free, provided at least one of you is assessed by the mediator as eligible for Legal Aid (Public Funding). Otherwise we have to charge to cover our administration costs and room hire.

You can come to the introductory meeting together or separately at different times, as you choose. You will be able to ask any questions you have about separation and divorce. As part of the introductory meeting, the mediator will need to see each of you separately.

The mediator will need to learn about your personal circumstances and then work out with you how mediation can help.

After the initial mediation session, meetings are arranged by appointment, either at the end of the introductory session or subsequently by our office staff. It is entirely your choice which venue you would like mediation to take place.

All appointments are made within normal office hours. In Redhill, we are able to offer appointments on every week-day and in particular circumstances, we may be able to offer evening appointments. In Clapham there are some restrictions to availability.

Our Clapham venue is midway between Clapham Common and Clapham South underground stations on the Northern Line. The Victoria venue is within a few minutes walk of Victoria Station.

We are able to meet individual mobility needs. We can also engage professional interpreters after the first meeting, if you are not eligible for Legal Aid we have to charge for this service.

Our administrative base, for all correspondence and telephone calls, is in Redhill, tel: 01737 772333.
